Bea’s initial work experience was as a lecturer at the University of the Free State. Her creative acumen then afforded her the opportunity to join the Wetherlys Retail Group. Wetherlys was the first of its kind in South Africa to provide a holistic solution to home and lifestyle decor, with the group consisting of 25 retail stores. Bea headed up the merchandising team for five years before becoming the Buyer and Product Developer for the group in 2004.
Having worked closely with Bea as a large supplier to the Wetherlys Group, Augray asked her to join them in 2013. Bea has an incredible eye for creative design, an asset when working on large design projects and the merchandising of the Augray retail brand.
